Visit to Harry Potter's Castle (Durham) 06/07/15

We visited Durham Castle to see and describe the setting of Harry Potter. We made magic wands and enjoyed exploring all the rooms and seeing what was behind closed doors. We can now describe Harry Potter's castle. We had a great day.

Day trip to Beamish 26/06/15

We went to Beamish. One group did games from the past. The other group had a ride on a tram and bus and different transport from the past.

S3 class Sports Day

We had our own mini sports day practicing our Maths. We have been learning about positional words e.g. on/ under/ in. We played a team game where we had to listen carefully and place the ball in the right place. We also practiced our directional language e.g. forwards/ backwards walking along the spots.

Visit to Marsden Grotto (15/06/15)

We visited Marsden Grotto and enjoyed exploring the caves, finding rocks and writing our name in the sand.
We especially enjoyed visiting the cafe in the rocks!
