S3 class Sports Day

We had our own mini sports day practicing our Maths. We have been learning about positional words e.g. on/ under/ in. We played a team game where we had to listen carefully and place the ball in the right place. We also practiced our directional language e.g. forwards/ backwards walking along the spots.

Visit to Marsden Grotto (15/06/15)

We visited Marsden Grotto and enjoyed exploring the caves, finding rocks and writing our name in the sand.
We especially enjoyed visiting the cafe in the rocks!

Chris Cook Magic visits Portland

S3, S6 and S1 really enjoyed a visit from Chris Cook Magic. We have been learning about Harry Potter so was great to see some real magic.

Lindsay was very worried when her ring "disappeared"!

Ryan helped turn 1 ball into 3 balls! How did that happen?

"What's happened to my £5 note?"

"How did he bend the coin?"

"How did the money appear?"

Lindsay was scared when her ring disappeared!

"Where is my ring?"

Phew the ring has appeared.

"This magician is great!"

Luke enjoyed the juggling!
